 Amanda achieved the role of Chessie Bligh (the first in a series of books) through her contacts with A.C.T. The Academy of Cinema and Television for Kids and Teens.  This is a private academy dedicated to helping students earn, and maintain, an edge over the competition in the entertainment industry.  The academy supports a continued commitment to the performing arts.  Amanda has also recently signed with Signature Models and Talent.

Chessie Bligh (Amanda’s role) is the story of a pre-teen who suddenly discovers she is not human, she is an Elf!  After struggling for years with unloving, controlling parents, Chessie along with her beloved dog Wuggbert, a ShihTzu, runs away.  She never dreamed her new adventure would lead her to a lost civilization in the Grand Canyon.  Soon she falls under the tutelage of a group of elves and she learns who she really is – an elf orphan with magical wizard powers.  But there is a dark side to her new adventure.  An evil elf, one who has killed before and will do so again, is after her.  While she innocently learns of the secrets of a forbidden land . ..  a lost land, and origin of the elves – Antelantiesse – he watches and waits.  Chessie will learn her troubled past is linked to this killer.  He was behind the deaths of the elf leader Kensington Sitnalta, his colleague Farn Tippi Scouptout, and two infant elf younglings fourteen years ago.  Chessie too was among those younglings cast into an uncertain future.  Chessie is about to discover whom she is and the magical powers she possesses.
